Lead grain marketing company doubles down on analytical power with new acquisition
Winnipeg, MB — December 17, 2021 — FarmLink Marketing Solutions (GrainFox), Western Canada’s leading grain marketing advisory company, is announcing the acquisition of Ontario analytical firm and publisher DePutter Publishing, enhancing its analytical capabilities and increasing capacity.
DePutter Publishing has been the premier analytical brand in Canada’s agriculture sector for 40 years, providing market analysis and insights, as well as historical and statistical data to back up its sales recommendations. Founder John DePutter has been a trusted voice in Canadian agriculture since the 1970s. The acquisition allows FarmLink and DePutter to expand their respective offerings, exploring new areas of expertise, new commodities, new markets, and new technologies in tandem.
“Acquiring DePutter Publishing is an enormous benefit for both FarmLink and our clients because it opens us up to so much more data and allows us to expand our network while introducing GrainFox to a new audience,” says FarmLink CEO Mark Lepp. “We also hope to give GrainFox users the choice between analytical teams to suit their preferences and unique farm business needs.”
While DePutter Publishing will now fall under FarmLink’s ownership, DePutter’s services will continue per usual, with both companies’ analytical teams remaining separate and offering different insights.
